Recruiting Thoughts

- To me Poggi is the biggest recruiting victory under Hoke so far. Not saying he is the best or most important prospect, but the biggest victory. Out of region kid, no real ties to Michigan, and Hoke beat out Alabama head to head. And Alabama wanted Poggi. Pipkins was originally from Michigan. Magnusson is probably the closest, but he wasn't pursued by Alabama.

- Michigan now has 14 4 stars on Rivals, and 17 on Scout and 247 (out of 20 commitments). Michigan has 7 top 100 commitments on Rivals, 5 on Scout, and 6 on 247. Just amazing.

- Obviously the class is not over, and Treadwell is still very important, but you could realistically shut it down at the commitments Michigan has now and call it a complete class. Every position is accounted for, every need now met. 3 DL, 2 LB, 3 secondary players. 5 OL, 2 WR's, 2 TE, 2 RB's, and 1 QB. Just an incredibly well balanced class.

- Going forward, honestly for me it is Treadwell and then I don't really care. Treadwell has shown extremely well the past 2 weeks and is definitely a top 50ish type player. Land him and I think the class is complete and anyone else is gravy.

- Michigan probably has 3-4 spots left. It looks like the coaches want 1 more WR, 1 more DL (probably a DE), 1 more corner, and possibly another RB.
